I designed this TouchOSC layout for Cubase 6.5.
This layout controls Cubase parameters in three ways:
1. Through the Generic Remote,
2. Through the Quick Controls, and
3. Through Midi CCs and Notes, which can be recorded to any MIDI channel directly.
To use this layout:
1. Install TouchOSC app on you tablet and install the TouchOSC bridge on your computer.
2. Establish a connection between your iPad and the computer.
3. Download the layout files . (Download Here).
4. Put the .touchosc file on your device.
5. Import the xml files into Cubase. There are two files, one for the quick controls and one for the generic remote.
All files are fully editable. if you see a problem (such as a repeated CC# or a wrong assignment), or need to change something, please edit the related parameters.
A few things such as the Master fader and meters may need to be re-connected.

Enjoy.
Hey man, this is REALLY NICE! jut installed it now and running like a charm but yes, as stated you would need to reconnect the VU meter and the master channel. So, how do you do this? 🙂 I’m really new to configuring midi CC etc as I never needed to do this in the past with conventional controllers.
I’d appreciate the help and also, I’m in your debt. I don’t think I would have had the patience to create this even if I wanted to.
Thanks Vincent,
To edit any assignments please go to : Devices>Device Setup. Here under Remote devices click on ‘Generic Remote’. You will see two rows on the left side . The upper row is where you name your buttons, faders etc and assign a MIDI CC and Channel for each control. The bottom is where Cubase assigns the upper column controls to different commands. So for now you only need to edit the bottom part. Look for “001 master fader’ and ‘001 master volume.’ Here you will see that their assignment is ‘VST mixer’ but the channel column shows a different channel #. Click on the CH# and pick your master out for both (probably called ‘stereo out’). That is it. Let me know if there is anything else. Thanks.
Sangtar thank you very very much!!! Your template the best of the best!!! But in cubase 5.1 master fader doesnt work.
